The Behman’s Learning Disabilities Programme aims to assist patients with special needs reach their full potential within a safe, secure, respectful, and empathetic environment. Treatment plans are devised by a multi-disciplinary team including psychiatrists, internists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and nurses. The services offered include the assessment of intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurological disorders, and coexisting medical conditions. Rehabilitation programmes typically include an array of interventions addressing psychiatric, psychological, and medical treatment. Therapeutic modalities include occupational therapy for gross and fine motor skills, speech therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, social skills training, and sports activity engagement in addition to daily recreational activities.
